Boomer - a 4-month old Beagle pup

Sadly, we had to let Belle go in January 2008.  It was a gut-wrenching decision, but we couldn't
watch her deteriorate any further.  She was a little over 11 years old at the time.  She was
one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs we've ever seen.

Our vet knew of our unabashed  love for dogs, and that we suddenly had a big hole in the family.
A four month old Beagle puppy was recently brought to her to be "put down".   The reason:  a slight case
of Parvo - so slight that it was highly treatable.  Its former owners relinquished the pup to the vet, and
she thought of us immediately.  She sent us an e-mail asking us to "foster" it.

Well, we're sure "foster" means "adoption" in this case, and I imagine we'll have second thoughts
about taking in a juvenile delinquent - but we're game.

Here are a few pics we took at the clinic while he was being treated
